What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Web Developer to support the development and maintenance of our internal intranet and web-based tools, ensuring reliability, usability, and continuous improvement.
What will you do?
Development & Maintenance
Develop and maintain new features for the company’s internal intranet and web applications
Write clean, structured, and maintainable code (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Ensure proper documentation and code commenting for long-term maintainability
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs reported by internal users
Perform regular updates and improvements to keep systems fully operational
Database Management
Write and optimize MySQL queries (CRUD operations)
Design and create database structures to support new functionalities
Translate business needs into effective database solutions
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with internal teams (IT, Operations, QA, Regulatory) to gather requirements
Translate functional needs into technical solutions
Document developments and technical decisions
Communicate progress, timelines, and blockers clearly
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve the existing codebase
Stay up to date with web development best practices
What will you bring?
Degree in IT/Engineering or similar
3+ years of experience as a Web Developer
Strong knowledge of PHP and Apache environments
Solid skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
Experience working with existing codebases
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams
Languages: Spanish, Catalan, English
